Project Manager

Job description

One of our clients from the insurance industry is currently looking for a project manager to join their team.

Role

The Work From Anywhere (WFA) project aims to define and deploy the environment of the future for employees in three spheres: workspaces, culture surrounding the employee experience, including flexible teleworking and technologies supporting these changes. As the main project manager, you will actively participate in the definition of this environment and will be responsible for orchestrating its deployment in close collaboration with the three mandated vice-presidencies.

Main responsibilities

- Carry out all the project management activities of the mandates entrusted. The mandates will include strategic corporate objectives, major deliveries to high visibility by senior management of the company and a level of complexity requiring increased leadership and political acumen;

- Contribute to the organization of the delivery teams necessary to achieve the set objectives, ensure compliance with agreed guidelines and help the parties stakeholders to keep the focus on priorities with high business value, including sometimes the management of service agreements with external suppliers;

- Develop, plan and lead committees according to established governance in order to give visibility to the progress of the project (s) (scope, deadlines, budgets, risks, decisions) and obtain the required support from partners and managers affected by the project;

- Contribute and help teams manage the risks and issues surrounding deliveries, anticipating and proactively addressing them, then defining the action plans necessary to facilitate implementation;

- Share global progress reports regularly and transparently (assumptions, delivered values, deadlines, costs, quality, risks, stakes, blockers major, progress and achievement of objectives and benefits) by offering a consolidated perspective and harmonized solutions demonstrating mastery of profession as well as a sense of urgency, when appropriate;

- See to the consistency of the various initiatives and their alignment with the objectives program strategies;

- Ensure the coordination and monitoring of inter-project links;

- Ensure that deadlines, planned investments and strategic objectives are encountered;

- Plan and lead the various bodies or committees by demonstrating leadership;

- Ensure the efficient circulation of information associated with the program;

- Ensure the prioritization and documentation of decisions to be taken based issues and impacts identified;

- Identify, in collaboration with the various projects, the risks and mitigation and ensure their implementation;

- Support POs in prioritizing their product books and ensuring maintenance

- Ensure that POs and members of their production team understand and play their roles correctly;

- Work in close collaboration with the vice-presidencies, in support of the POs, in defining the vision and documenting improvements;

- Identify the needs in terms of resources (human, financial, material) and request, participate in the recruitment of missing skills in the team;

- Ensure the application of the Scrum or Scrumban framework and support the team in the process to make it autonomous and self-organized while respecting the guidelines of the mandates entrusted to them;

- Create favorable conditions for a high-performance team focused on priority business needs;

- Eliminate obstacles and ensure close collaboration between the different stakeholders;

- Ensure that the production teams are functional, productive and that they constantly improve their productivity;

- Protect the teams from any external interference;

- Ensure the implementation of the action plans defined during the retrospectives.

Requirements

- 10 to 15 years in project management, including a minimum of 1 - 3 years in an agile context, in a business project context;

- Experience in telework or hybrid mode project management;

- Concrete experience of the application of agile principles in the work environment Scrum or Scrumban (ceremonies, artefacts, etc.);

- Experience in multi-mode project management which includes agile potions and more traditional portions;

- Experience in project management involving several stakeholders from several sectors or multiple organizations

- Experience in budget management and sector capacity management activity;

- Experience of animation and presentations at the executive level

- Concrete experience of accountability in agile mode and in traditional;

- Concrete experience in the application of good practices (eg: standard recognized) in project management;

- English level: advanced;

- Knowledge and understanding of the LEAN philosophy.

Assets

- PMP certification;

- Scrum Master certification;

- SAFE certification;

- Knowledge of the financial sector;

- Project experience with the human resources and planning sector.
