Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Job description

One of our clients from the mining industry is currently looking for a senior SAP FICO advisor to join their team.

Description of tasks and responsibilities

  • Support business process maintenance activities (SAP FICO AR, AP, G / L, AA, ML, COPA) so as to structure them in the SAP system while respecting internal control needs.
  • Act as coordinator and project manager;
  • Provide user support, document and train SAP “Business expert” users following system changes and implementation;
  • Actively work on the evolution and improvement of processes while remaining aligned with the needs, mission, objectives and priorities of the business;
  • Act as an expert in his field, issue opinions and opinions by promoting standard SAP solutions;
  • Influence the standardization of business processes by respecting standards (SOX);
  • Develop its field of activities by monitoring the evolution of standards and AMPLC's best business practices;
  • Research, define and communicate best business practices jointly with department managers;
  • Design and carry out studies and analyzes, propose actions and solutions, provide advice, develop and propose frameworks in its field and ensure its implementation and monitoring;
  • Work jointly with functional and technical resources in the implementation of new features;
  • Actively configure SAP or other systems if qualified;
  • Provide and carry out the transfer of SAP knowledge to users following changes;
  • Prioritize activities with IT management and managers of operations units;
  • Provide second level support at all times;
  • Support users, manage problems (issues) and queries related to business processes;
  • Design the roles and security profiles and associate them with the users in the compliance with control needs;
  • Carry out crisis management. Respond quickly and effectively to failures and / or requests that require immediate attention;
  • Meet IT performance objectives at the service and quality level (KPI).

Qualifications

  • Possess a university degree in software development engineering or business administration or any related field;
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • SAP knowledge;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office solution (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio)
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing business processes;
  • Bilingualism required (spoken and written);
